Ellen, that view looking down is exactly the perspective I find the least attractive, I’m not sure why. I, too, am anxious to see the new garden – fingers crossed! I hope you find the M&S again!

must say that these photos and those of James Kigin make it very photogenic. I’d say the view looking down on it is the one I don’t like. We’ll see how it grows into our everyday view of the city. I still don’t like the Pompidou Center. I don’t mind the TGB. The Opera Bastille is okay, as long as they can keep the panels on and avoid having to put up nets again. I’m anxious to see the new garden at Les Halles — the old one was a disaster — and the shopping center. Most of all, I’m anxiously awaiting the end to the work in the RER connection zone. Once I figure out my route, they put another escalator out of service and introduce a new direction post and I have to find a new way to cross over to my line down to "my" spot on the platform. I came across the M&S supermarket a couple of months ago and have since lost it.
